Evaluation
Initially this brief was supposed to be a quick turnaround, one week brief which would specifically be a more 'fun' brief which I could go to in-between the more intense briefs I would undertake. However, I underestimated the time scale required for screen printing especially since the days in which I was allowed to use the facilities were limited due to timetabling issues.
As a result I have not produced as many prints as I would have liked. I am quite pleased with how independently I have been able to work during the course of this brief, engaging with the facilities myself which is something I would have been hesitant about doing last year.
The end result I also something I am pleased with, I have always appreciated the hand-rendered effect given by the screen-printing process. Which I personally believe is more engaging than something produced solely on the computer.
If I was to redo the brief I would definitely consider more of a range of products to produce in the aesthetic I have chosen, gift bags and tags would be appropriate for the brief.
